Posted in Blogging
Just wanted to pop in and say hello to all my friends here. I started posting more to my "family" blog and shamefully neglecting this one. Come on over and say hello if you get a chance. We're having a busy fall between taking care of our animals and having school each day. Here's where you can find me: Amey's Blog

Blessings!

Sunday, January 14, 2007 - Loved reading your site

Posted by Judie C. Rall
Hello, I don't know you at all but stumbled across your homeschoolblogger site first, then was led here. I have enjoyed reading your many musings. I am a homeschooler too, but more an unschooler, we didn't do anything organized until my son at age 14 said he wanted to get an actual high school diploma, so we enrolled him in Citizen's High School where you get an actual accredited diploma. I told him he didn't have to, but he wanted to. I don't do much teaching, it's self paced and open book, and if he has a question, he asks. Anyway, I would also like to live in the country, but that's a ways down the road, probably after my kids have all left home, LOL. Anyway, thanks so much for posting that link to the True Food's website. I was just studying about genetically modified foods this week and am happy to find that site. I was reading about you cleaning your kitchen. Don't feel bad about that, I hardly ever clean mine. In the vast scheme of things, I doubt anyone is going to care 1,000 years from now whether I cleaned it or not. I do run several home businesses so I can usually get my kids to clean it when it gets really bad by claiming, "I run a business so I'm already doing full time work, you can help out." That might get the floor mopped or dishes done, but that's about it. Anyway, enjoy your life, when you have time to lay on that couch and read that book, go for it! About Me

I'm a midwestern gal, living my dream life on 7 acres in the country. I love Jesus, my husband, three children, Daisy the Wonder Goat, and our chickens. I'd still love to someday have a miniature jersey milk cow.
