• Friday, December 21, 2007 - Preparation Day Again...

Friday morning...awe, yes! I love to hear it's Friday morning. My day will be busy with the chores that I have to do, but it's also filled with getting my house in order...candles lit, flowers and fresh linens. I love it.. gives me that special occassion feeling. But it also, means that I will be taking it easy from sunset tonight to sunset tomorrow, but mostly I enjoy spending quality time in the Word. I read each day, but I don't always have time to "study" the word...and this is what I do on Sabbath. That is, bottom line,  what I look forward too. A new "revelation"...... of course they can come any day of the week...but I usually learn something about the past week, that I need to work on for the future.

This week has been a busy week...I've had to deal with a colic horse, finding hay, cleaning one of our vacant apartments, taking my 13yr old hunting each morning at 6:30, normal household chores and my daily animal chores.....

milking goats, chickens, rabbit, cockatiels, dogs and the horses....oh yes, being the mom to 5 children even though only 2 are at home. The other 3, keep me concerned....all young adults on their own. I try my best to understand they are in Gods hands, but I still can't help the worry. I am really looking forward to this weeks day of "Rest" .

Blessings,

Cindylee

I do so enyoy your blog on Friday mornings...I love preparation day. It has only been in the last few months that we have come to observe a day of rest and fellowship on Sat. We started when we discovered what we believe to be the Sabbeth is on Saturday. I won't argue the Sat/Sun decision anyone makes, I can only say that it has made a huge difference in our life. I am usually so ready for Fri. night...it is a wonderful time. It has really helped me keep God first. I really look forward to reading your entrys...Thank you.

About Me

Peace and Blessings! I'm a mom of five....2 stll at home, 2 in college and 1 daugther that has 2 children of her own. I've been homeschooling for the past 15 years and have been trying to simplify my/our family's life. Sometimes that comes easy and sometimes it's hard. So this is a place I thought I'd share my stories...the good and the not so good.
