Dad

After a battery of tests and setbacks and hurdles to jump.....today...today I found out that my Dad has lung cancer.

I know that the Lord gives us no more than we can bear, but just how strong does He think I am?

Normally, my Daddy is a clean shaven fella... just more proof that he hasn't felt well lately.

This was taken the day before he was admitted to the hospital.

Please pray for my Dad.

He is such a good, decent, strong, loving man.

And I love him so very much.

*HUGE HUGS* I felt the same way when my mother and father were both battling cancer (mom from stomach adn dad from prostate) at the same time. The emergency visits, hospital stays and treatments and doctor visits were almost more than I could handle as I was pregnant!

God is there for you! Go to Him for your strength and don't let this tear you down. But let the journey and what you learn from it build you up!!!!

And if you need a shoulder, I am here. I will be praying.

I am so sorry. It must be so hard for you. Enjoy him ,spend as much time with him as you can. I lost my grandfather 13 years ago today and still feels like it just happened. I think we all have been there in the how much more can I bear, but god gets us through it. I am praying for all of you.
