Polytunnel Photos
|
Well, this one isn't. This is a photo of our nature table, taken the other night, with the lamp burning, as there was a storm, and we were expecting the power to go out!

but these are! These are my peppers -

and these are my tomatoes

it is mightily hot working in there, I have to plant everything out in short bursts, then get out into the breeze.
More tomatoes

hmmm yes, it's definitely a work in progress!

and meanwhile, as I sweated in the polytunnel, the girls were earthing up the potatoes.

so we had a moderately productive day, and then I came in and canned my rhubarb, and my smile faded!

Pretty table! I have an oil lamp similar to yours from my grandparents estate. I best not show my peppers & tomatoes your polytunnel, or they will revolt for better conditions. The way our weather has been this year, they need a warm, less-windy, home. Hmmm, you have just given me an idea to make my own mini polytunnel using plastic pvc pipe & poly. Thanks! Now just to convince my husband. lol.
Blessings to You and Yours,

Can a polytunnel ever be too hot?

Looks wonderful! I have to laugh...I bought a rhubarb plant and had it sitting on my deck before planting. The next day I went out and it was completely gone!
"Something" enjoyed my rhubarb but it sure wasn't ME!
