Hatred? I disagree!

Just browsin' around, and it came to me like this - if someone disagrees with you, they likely feel they can tell you, in a civilised manner.

Most of you are in the US and l'il ole me I am in the UK and some of us are in Oz ... all of us famed for loving our freedom of speech, right?

It's the menace of our socialist government, and the PC nutcases, to confuse disagreeing with hatred. It's calling disagreeing with someone 'a hate crime' that lands pastors in jail for preaching the gospel.

Of course, we can all click through, if we disagree, but if what has been said seems wrong, or harmful, some of us will respectfully (I hope) say 'I think you're wrong' and probably we'll say it in your comments.

If you don't like that, you are entitled to delete that comment, but be honest, admit that you don't like people disagreeing with you.  To delete the comment and then, when no one can make up their own mind by reading it, call it 'hate mail' is ... er ... not cricket!

HSB is a loving place, with lots of different opinions, lots of people, a lot but not all christians, a lot of denominations, a lot of non denominations. This is not the place to be judgemental!

Every now and again a spat breaks out, but you know what ladies, it's usually cos someone somewhere got bored and *wanted* to start a spat. Now I don't know about you, but when I was little and my big brother wanted to pick a fight, my mother used to say 'ignore him, he's only trying to get you into a row!' and she was right, you know.

So anyway, has anyone made hard cheese? Proper pressed cheese? We bought a mini kit a while back and have just eaten our first lot - a white, crumbly, Caerphilly type cheese from this book and it was fabulous. Now I just have to try to make like one a week or something, and store them ... somewhere!

We are pretty much living from the garden now, over run with peas, carrots, courgettes (zucchini to you) spinach beet, lettuce, beetroot, turnips ... lots of eggs from our chickens and the girls' bantams, plenty of milk, and not long since had a couple of mutton sheep done, so lots of meat available too. I've given up going shopping!

It is somewhat hard work though, and what with riding twice a day to try to get ponies fit for Pony Club Camp which unbelievably is next week, I am very tired. So I'll go and water my polytunnel and say goodnight.

Agree!
Agree!
Agree!!!

Unfortunately here in America, we have been brainwashed by our public school systems and the media to feel empowered and entitled.
We (some of us) like to throw around big words (hatred, racist, judgmental) when things don't go the way we want. We like to point fingers.
Sad.
I am sure there is someone out there that "got saved" because someone pointed a "holy" finger at them and said "you are wrong, you are going to hell, you are stupid".
I just can't name one right now?

Jesus said the 2 Greatest Commandments are:
Love the Lord, Your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind AND Love your neighbor as yourself.

His Love, shining thru us......leads the unsaved out of the darkness and to the True Light.

LOL, you crack me up - yes indeed, do bring the salad for the tire warming party. I think it will be great fun!

Yes, you know we must have tolorance for everything under the sun except Christianity (said sarcastically). There is NOTHING NEW under the sun. I do agree with you whole-heartedly! This world is becoming such a scary place, I'm sure looking forward to the Rapture.

Your cheese sounds wonderful. I wish I could pop right in for a taste and some good conversation. Do you use goat's milk? I've never tried making cheese, but would love to try.

Our garden is florishing too. Our tomatoes are small this year for some reason (my mom's are too), but delicious. And I see the first of the green beans are now ready to pick - I'll do that Saturday after we get home from picking blueberries at a U-pick.

Have a good day friend!
Blessings,
PlainJane

Blessings Dear Sister!
Isn't it sad when folks can't disagree without making it a crime? Just as many like to pick a fight they like to do it anonymously. To me that is cowardly. Exactly why I fixed my blog so that only registered folks can comment on my blog:) I don't mind anyone disagreeing with me but I do like to "face my accuser":) Just as I have no shame in disagreeing with someone else:)
I love to make our own cheese from goatmilk. I learned to make mozzarella this past spring. It was so wonderful and I love that you can eat it the day you make it!
Isn't it wonderful how, with a little work and dirty fingernails, you can feed your family? By the sweat of our brow, as my mother used to say:)
As usual I enjoyed your post.
God be with thee!
Sister Lori
