dry toast Friends... I am being pulled in a million and one directions right now. I hope to be able to share with you something of interest soon. But for now... I have nothing. I am dry toast. I am about to s l o w down though... truly. I am going to create, to sit, to read, and enjoy the remainder of my summer with my children instead of running. Bear with me. Good things soon. xoxo ![]() 07:07 - Wednesday, July 1, 2009 - comments {2} - post commentThe List For the past few days, I have realized just how lax I have been in my daily duties.... It first began when I was on Facebook the other night and a friend of mine and I were discussing some unfinished crafts that we both have. When I realized I have a dress of Cameo's on my sewing desk that only needed one button sewed back on and the dress has been sitting there for 3 weeks, I knew there was a problem! So there's one... Then I was on the phone with my Sister and she asked me when I cleaned my house... Well, honestly, I haven't really 'cleaned' in a while. I have tidied and got by, but the house really needs to be cleaned. And third, a dear, dear friend Lindsey came by yesterday and we strolled through the yard and garden and I was completely embarrassed by how let go my garden has been... So I have to do better! I have to! So I have began my list... -Clean bathrooms -Hoe and water garden this evening -Get cages for 4 of my tomato plants and stake them -Clean front porch and back deck -Clean and move aquarium to girls room -Mop floors tonight after everyone is asleep That is a bit of what I need to do and there is MUCH more I am sure... But I figure it will get done throughout the weekend. Besides, if you can't enjoy things and have fun sometimes... what a dull life we would lead. Blessings, to you friends. May your Friday be wonderful! :) ![]() 08:36 - Friday, June 26, 2009 - comments {7} - post commentPink and Blue... Not much today... Hoping this cheery shade of pink will chase off some serious shades of blue hitting me right now. ![]() 08:52 - Thursday, June 18, 2009 - comments {3} - post commentDryFriends, I don't know if I am suffering from writers block, or from being busy or what the deal is, but I feel dry. Like there is nothing worthwhile to share... or at least enough to make a good blog post about. One good thing is, my ticker has moved... if you look on the right side of the screen, you will see that it has moved down six lbs. Yeah! :) Now to keep it up so I can move down some more next week. Shannon is on his third day of school. He said it is the hardest thing he has ever tried before, so please, please keep him in your prayers. I told him that he just had to keep his chin up and keep trying and let God work through him. I I hope to get back on a good routine and have some new exciting things to share with you... but like I said, I just feel dry. So, for now, just a little update and a big thank you for your sweetness. Much love... xoxo ![]() 06:17 - Wednesday, April 15, 2009 - comments {4} - post commentJust because I am a goof...![]() 01:57 - Tuesday, April 7, 2009 - comments {4} - post commentQuiet today... Yesterday morning outside of church... it was incredibly warm and beautiful.Good Morning, Friends. I hope your weekend was splendid. We had a great, great weekend. Yesterday was Men's Day at our church and so several men gave their testimonies. It was so inspiring and so wonderful to see what God can do in lives.... it strengthens and uplifts. Wonderful. On Saturday we will have a Ladies Luncheon. Those are always so fun and so encouraging. I look forward to that... and it is also Valentine's Day! I am trying to think of something special to serve my family for supper that night. We don't ever go out or overboard, but I do try to make a special day for everyone. Have a wonderful week my friends...My Cup Runneth Over... ![]() 08:13 - Monday, February 9, 2009 - comments {7} - post commentGiveaway at Serenity Sheep FarmsHello Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that LaVonne has an AWESOME giveaway at her blog Serenity Sheep Farms... Abram-3 years, photo taken yesterday morning on the way to church.Good Morning Friends. I hope you are all well this morning. It is rainy here. Rainy and the temperature is dropping quickly. We reached almost 70* yesterday and today there is a significant chance for snow this afternoon. Yes, a 50* difference from yesterday and today. CRAZY! Life is good on our little homestead, yesterday's temperatures make it very hard not to dream of springtime gardens. But today, we have a great hope for snow. Snow is very exciting for our neck of the woods because it is SO rare. So, for the most part, everyone I know is excited to see what this afternoon holds. :) We had a nice weekend. We cleaned house and played games and had a great weekend. Yesterday we had a WONDERFUL morning church service. It was just great. God presence was so heavy and everyone was sad to see the service end... it was just THAT good! :) We have a lot in store for this week... lots of good schooling, some good home-cooking, and it is tax time... getting ready for that also. I hope you have a great week. Let your light so shine! My Cup Runneth Over... ![]() 08:27 - Monday, February 2, 2009 - comments {3} - post comment
