Homecoming

Aaron and Amanda Crabb
Yesterday was our churches 70th anniversary, to which we call Homecoming.  What happens at homecoming is that we have a service where we have special singing, preaching and then a meal afterwards.
Let me tell you... What a blessing.
It was so incredible! I wish you could have been there to experience it with us. God's people met and worshiped and God was glorified.
Amazing, amazing day!

Now, I would like for you to come together with me in prayer...
I have already asked you to pray for Mamaw, please continue to pray for her... but I would like to ask you to pray for our dear friend Karen again also. Her family is in need of a miracle... but that is ok, because I serve a miracle working God! He is able! You can follow her story here.
Thanks and God bless each and every one of you!

Loving on Daddy

For Father's Day we try and celebrate the weekend...
We went to a cookout on Friday.
The kids showed off their mad skills with some action shots.
Our new little swimmer WITHOUT floaties, Carlie Jean!
No hesitation about jumping right in.
And if Carlie Jean can swim without floaties, then Abram has to be right behind... says he!
My dearest working with our youngest.... swoon.
Another cookout on Saturday... and Saturday evening a little R&R for the Daddy of the year!
And then surrounded by his best gifts ever!
I hope you loved on the Daddy's in your life also.

A time...

A time to embrace...
A time to dance...
A time to laugh...
There is a time to every purpose under heaven.

Happy to be Home

The children and I are happy to be back home again, safe and sound. We enjoyed a little time away and are eager to return to our normal way of life.
I look forward to sharing more pictures and fun in the days to come...

Family Wedding Reception

Praying God's blessings over their marriage
Saturday, my Baby Girl (Carlie Jean) and I spent the afternoon together at a Family Wedding Reception. Our cousin Matt married his longtime sweetheart Shannon. And what a lovely time we had with our extended family.
The cake was beautiful.
And so was the couple...
May they have a long happy life together.

Evening Devotion

A few evenings ago, we went out for a stroll and decided to have our family devotion, out of doors since the weather was so nice.
It was a beautiful evening, crickets were chirping, and a slight breeze was blowing. God's beauty and presence was everywhere.
I can especially see His wonders in my children...
All so wonderful, beautiful, and unique.

God's wonder surrounds us, if we only take time to see...

Happy March!

Hello Friends!
I hope you are all well.  We are doing just dandy. Living and loving and just enjoying all God's blessings. I am so aware of His Goodness and His Love.  It just overwhelms me!
Pictures are from our Movie Night at church.
We are going through some very cold temperatures for our area.  It was very wintry around here yesterday, so much so that church was canceled.  The children and I spent our morning wrapped up in quilts and enjoying the rest.
I hope you all have a beautiful day.
I have to run, I am cooking supper for a family in our church tonight. The mother has been in the hospital for a while.

Fun times at the Tennessee Aquarium

Saturday, my youngest two children's AWANA class had a special trip to the Tennessee Aquarium for being such super cubbies. Of course, the whole family took the opportunity to go to a favorite fun spot for a much discounted price. :)
Abe is ready! He even has his 'monkey-on-his-back' backpack! :)
Waiting on our tickets.
The sturgeon encounter... we all enjoy petting these unique fish.
Elijah LOVES to learn... here he is seeing how a seahorse 'sees'.
Yeah! The littles are inside Nemo's tank! :)
Cameo blinked... but look how sweetly Abe is snuggled up to her...awww!
Nemo and Marlin! :)
Hooray for MOSS! :) I LOVE IT! :)
Here they are in the rain forest.
Here they are in the Arctic with the penguins... brrrr it was cold!
My little comedian!
Cameo thought it was funny too!
Cubbies! :)
We had a wonderful time...
I hope you have a great day!
