A Day of Nature

Yesterday the children and I went on a nature walk, we needed to gather leaves for our rubbings, sketches and classifications.  We also found many other interesting items... So I decided we could make the famous pine cone bird feeders.
Here is Carlie Jean with her leaf....

How fun...

How fun to do all the crafty things you do with your kids. I don't think my dogs and cats would appreciate it as much as they do : ) I should borrow someone else's kids to do fun kid stuff with. Have a wonderful day!

Oh yes, we love to make those bird feeders! It is good that the weather was nice so you could do them outside....they are a bit messy. One time we were sweeping up bird seed for days! But I love "messy" crafts!
