Cost per Pound

I get so excited when I get a good deal, even more excited when I get a great deal. We got back from all of our running around. And I was putting the 50 lbs of wheat flour in gallon and 2 gallon containers, when I started figuring price per pound. The wheat flour comes to 38 cents per pound. I don't know what it is running these days as I haven't been shopping in Walmart in ages and when I was looking for wheat flour at our regular grocery store in town, they had non. I think I got a pretty good deal??? They were out, already, of the 50 lb bag of sugar. It usually runs about $20.00 a bag. So that is about 40 cents per pound. Good I guess. I just know it is very convenient to have that around. One of these days, we will use something else for a sweetener, but for now it's still sugar. I have made a lot of changes to our diet over the past couple of years. Break them in easy.. :)

That is a good deal at .38 a lb. I need to find more storage space around my home. I know that buying in bulk does save. I just need the space :- )
