Burnt Pizza

Well what a friday it has been. My son is starting to learn how to play candy land and chutes and ladders. Here he is playing candy land.

Its amazing as soon as I get the camera out he wants me to take a picture of him. He is my ham. So teaching a 2yr old how to play a board game is so frusterating for me. I love him and want him to learn do not get me wrong. But whoa!. Its even more hard when he does not know his colors all that well, or follow directions to the tea. Yes i know that will come with time. So i can only play like twice then i have to be done. It makes me kinda crazy.

Well On to the title of todays blog. I had made my pizza as I usually do, went to set the timer for 15 min(or so I thought) sat down at the computer for the timer to go off. Then I got up and wondered why the timer had not gone off. Looked at the timer. Duh I had not even set the thing. So I opened the oven, and it was pitch black in there. I took the pizza out and it was black. I have never burnt anything before. So we ended up going out to Red Robin for burgers. Sad. Very sad. Now I know to double check my timer.

Toddlers and Board Games

Well, I'm impressed that you are even TRYING to teach a 2 year old a board game! My 2 and 1/2 year old daughter knows nothing about the world of board games yet. She found the pieces to our UPWORDS game once and had a lot of fun with those. But after that fun experience, she has no clue where the games are hidden! :-) Way to go! Enjoy the time with your son... even when it drives you nuts! Precious moments these are!
