Todays pregnancy update

Man oh man I am only 4 weeks and 2 days into this, and it seems that I am not going to have a fluffy(normal, no sickness) pregnancy. I have spent most of the day in bed. I am just so nauseated. Thank the Lord I have not thrown up yet. I have just been eating toast, white rice, plain oatmeal. and the ocassional bean burrito. I weighed myself today. Ok that was really stupid. The last couple weeks before I found out I was pregnant, I was eating and eating, and eating. Probably my body preparing for months with nothing but bland food.

Tonight we get to visit our birth center. That time I had a c-section with calvin at the hospital, not something I want to repeat again. So this birth center does v-bacs, and tonight is there information meeting,get to know you kinda thing. Thats awesome.

I also have been doing laundry, but thats about it.

i ate lots of hummus at the start of my pregnancy. bland enough, but still some flavor.

Congratulations on the new pregnancy! I'm sorry you are feeling so nauseated. My daughter was like that and the Dr. had to put her on some medication for it. I hope you get better!

Casondra, I know this may sound stupid, but I used something for morning (all day) sickness that helped me. Boating stores sell wrist bands that are an elastic band with a plastic bubble on one side. The bubble is placed against the inside of the wrist, and the elastic gives a firm pressure. It is an accupressure type thing designed to help reduce sea-sickness. I tried using them because I found morning sickness to feel the same as sea-sickness. I thought they helped. There are no drugs - just pressure. Best wishes to you, and congratulations. Lynne

~Myself~

My name is Casondra. I am 31 years old. We currently reside in the great state of Michigan. I am a Sahm and wife to a wonderful growing family. My Dh's name is Chris. He is 30 years old(yes I did marry a younger man) :) He works for the State of Michigan. He is my Mr. Steady, through and through. He is the Love of my life. We were married in 2001. He is Strong,Confident, Loving,Sweet,Caring,Funny,and is my better half. There is no one in the world who I would rather spend my time with.

My son's name is Calvin. He is 3.5 years old. He is my sweet miracle man. My ham in a can. He is the funniest,little boy. He looks like his dad, but acts like his mom. Sometimes thats not always a good thing. He is kind, polite,caring, and full of energy. He is also so very sweet and snuggly.

~My Angel~

My angel who is in Glory. We lost our sweet angel, the sunday before thanksgiving 2004. The wee one was only with us 7 short weeks, though we never met, we think of that angel often.

My daughters name is Catherine. She is my long awaited miracle. She is so sweet and soft. She is already smiling and showing love. She has been worth all the hard work.
