My garden is underwater

Well it seems that when it rains it pours. This is the most it has rained all year. I planted my garden two days ago. Ok just the carrots and the zuchnni seeds. It started to rain yesterday night and has not stopped. So my garden now looks like the lost city of atlantis. All underwater. ARGH. I am glad I planted in small hills. They are not completly covered so it still may be salvagable. I know some of my mound of carrots got washed away. Thats ok. So I may have to replant them, whenever it stops raining. It is supposed to rain everyday till next week sometime. Not like I belive the weatherman but it does not look good for this garden so far.

It is probably a bit hotter in Australia sometimes when we plant carrots, no wonder we don't get to know each other's climate, since it is autumn here lol. Anyway, Mum uses lawn clippings lightly sprinkled over the carrots to get them to come up.

Well, those that didn't get drowned out will pop up quickly as soon as it stops raining and the sun comes back! It's hard, I know, to decide when to plant ... it always seems to be the wrong time.

My Dh's name is Chris. He is 30 years old(yes I did marry a younger man) :) He works for the State of Michigan. He is my Mr. Steady, through and through. He is the Love of my life. We were married in 2001. He is Strong,Confident, Loving,Sweet,Caring,Funny,and is my better half. There is no one in the world who I would rather spend my time with.

My son's name is Calvin. He is 3.5 years old. He is my sweet miracle man. My ham in a can. He is the funniest,little boy. He looks like his dad, but acts like his mom. Sometimes thats not always a good thing. He is kind, polite,caring, and full of energy. He is also so very sweet and snuggly.

~My Angel~

My angel who is in Glory. We lost our sweet angel, the sunday before thanksgiving 2004. The wee one was only with us 7 short weeks, though we never met, we think of that angel often.

My daughters name is Catherine. She is my long awaited miracle. She is so sweet and soft. She is already smiling and showing love. She has been worth all the hard work.
