stormy surprises

We had an extremely stormy night last night. In more ways than one. There was a tornado watch, severe thunderstorms, lots of thunder, rain and lightning. The kind of thunder that rolls and lasts for minutes not seconds. The kind of lightning that lights up the whole house. But not only the storm was causing commotion. We could once again here our dogs seriously chasing off coyotes and there was a very annoying owl hooting away. What a night!  But as often happens in the springtime in the country we had a wonderful surprise! I’ll tell you more in a bit……and hopefully I’ll get the pictures on.  And I will probably elaborate and build a whole nother gross science lesson around it. Any guesses?
