well that hurt!

I hope most of you were spared that nasty anonymous comment I received earlier. It said that I was greedy. Just in case y'all haven't read from my site, I will share who I am. I am a mother to 8 children, one whom died as an infant. We are a ministry family. We do what we do because God has called us. We are not backed by any "big" church and do not receive a salary. We minister in our own church that we pay the bills for in a poverty stricken community that is dominated by drugs and drug dealers. We minister in the county jail and aty the state prison. We minister to the homeless, hopeless and broken people God puts in our path. My oldest daughter is our worship leader, she spends so much time with the Lord that when she sings you can feel God in the room. I have seen crack addicts delivered and healed during worship. She does not receive a paycheck and neither do we. We do not receive government aid either, we feel that is a trap that all too often keeps people dependant on a hopeless lifestyle. We preach freedom, deliverance and the deep forgiving love of God. We have sacrificed a lot willingly to do what we feel called to do. We love the people we minister to. My children give and give and give, they know what they have is from the Lord. I do some writing and never ask for pay for my articles that are also ministry.

So, why I ask you, why is it wrong for me to sell hundreds of dollars of good materials most of which have been offered to me just for this purpose, by some of the leading homeschool authors, why is it wrong for me to sell these for a super good price, so that I can bless my daughter. How could that possibly be greedy? To that anonymous commenter, I say that your words were hurtful, but I forgive you.

If only the world knew God's love to the extent that they were able to forgive even when wronged.
