Raw milk update

So, we have officially been using raw milk for nearly two weeks now. I have noticed a couple things. I do not have problems digesting this milk; however, I do still have problems with other dairy, which only seems logical. We would like to be able to purchase the raw milk butter and cheeses as well but it can be costly so for now I am simply limiting my intake.
However, there is something strange that I have noticed and did not expect. I used to buy
Lactose Free Breyers ice cream because it didn't upset my stomach like the regular ice cream did. Now, when I eat lactose free, my stomach is VERY unhappy. It is really quite strange. It is as if my digestive system is reacting to the altered food. So we have officially stopped buying lactose free. We bought some regular ice cream last week and I had a bit to see what might happen. It didn't seem to tear my stomach up like it used to, but it still wasn't 100% kind to me.
I am really enjoying being able to drink milk and eat cereal. I never liked drinking milk before because of the "texture" but it isn't that way with the raw milk. So, I don't know if there is anyone out there who knows more about digestion and the lactose free/raw milk comparison, but I'd love to hear if you have anything to share.

I grew up drinking raw milk and now VA Dept of Ag is trying to regulate raw milk into non-existance. They claim it's dangerous but so is driving a car and they are still on the road.
I've also read the pancreas has to work *much* harder at digesting "store-bought" milk than raw milk.
