Menu Plan 15th-21st OctoberAnother box delivery yesterday:We've got: Potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms Cabbage, lettuce, 5 tomatoes, sweetcorn, green pepper 5 apples, 2 pears, 4 bananas, 2 plums We also have a small squash, 2 courgettes, 3 small beetroot, 2/3 of a cabbage, and lots of apples from before. My proposed menu for the week is: Wednesday: Rice with cabbage and egg, sweetcorn Thursday: Pasta in tomato sauce (tinned tomatoes, onion, courgette, pepper) Friday: Leftovers Saturday: (picnic at Wimpole Hall) Soup (squash, potato, carrot, onion), pork pie, focaccia, and cake Sunday: Sausages with cabbage and potato rostis, sweetcorn and beetroot Monday: Leftovers Tuesday: Cabbage with apple and bacon, mashed potatoes That is all fairly provisional at the moment, as with my mother convalescing from surgery (which has gone fine, but it will be a long recovery) I will have to visit her / spend the day with her a fair bit. But at least we've got a plan to work from. Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 222 of 282 } { Next Page } |
About MeHello! I'm Jo, I'm 27 and I live in a small house in England with my husband. I work full time in an office, and in my spare time I help out with Sunday school and the church youth group. When I have time, I enjoy reading, cookery and crafts, and a bit of gardening. We don't have any kids, but would really love to have some one day. Thanks for visiting me here!
