Here's an email I received about Trim the Fat: The Ultimate Book on Cutting Food Costs 

Being a family of 7, it’s very difficult for us to stick to a budget that is reasonable when it comes to food.  I’ve shopped with coupons, watching sales and even buying in bulk.  However, it seemed that I just couldn’t get everything in place, and I was NOT seeing any savings anywhere.

 After following some tips from Trim the Fat, we immediately started noticing some savings in our grocery bill.  After using our newly found secrets for 2 weeks, we found a surplus of funds in our ‘bills and food’ account, and we searched high and low for what we had forgotten to pay.  Only after reviewing everything we could, we realized that we didn’t forget anything...we had saved at the grocery stores!!!  What an awesome feeling that was!  I’m sure if we continue using Leslie’s methods, we should actually have an extra balance in our savings account to spoil our family after a year.  Keep bringing me these types of books Leslie!!
