Scrap Fabric: Free for the Asking

If you are a crafter, homeschooler, quilter, or use any fabric you have probably overlooked an AWESOME opportunity for FREE fabric scraps.

Check your local listings for drapery shops. These shops use a wide variety of fabrics to make custom draperies. The scraps from these projects is normally thrown away. Call a few places and ask if you can take a stash of fabric off their hands. Before you scroll down to the next article, think about all the different types of fabrics used to make draperies and window dressings! Oh, the lace, the heavy tapestry like fabrics, the colors! All for FREE!~ It's that simple.
