Getting Organized: Journey to Simplicity

Posted in Thoughts Comments or Concerns

Let's Get It Started!

Oh I am so excited!  Today I am unleashing the new schedule for Journey to Simplicity.  You will have the ability to know what is coming on each day just by checking out my new schedule in the bar to the right!  YIPEE!  Oh, I know some of you may be leary that there won't be any spontaneity around here, but there WILL!  In between the regularly scheduled sections my spontaneous nature will shine through.

So, here's the line-up you can expect from the Journey to Simplicity (starting next week):

  • MONDAY:  Can I Have Some More, PLEASE! (articles on putting food buy, saving on food, menu ideas, recipes, shopping lists, well, anything dealing with food!)
  • TUESDAY:  Keep It Together, Girl! (articles on organization and homesteading the simple, frugal, & easy way!)
  • WEDNESDAY:  I Can't Live Simply Until I Accomplish...(articles on beginning and continuing to live simply TODAY!  Regardless of how much or little chaos is in your life, you can make changes that will get you on the path to simplicity AND keep you going.)
  • THURSDAY:  Simply Frugal (articles on making your journey to simplicity a personal and rewarding experience!)
  • FRIDAY:  Mom, I Am Bored! (articles on including some neat, easy, frugal, and FUN activities into your school day from toddlers to high schoolers!)
  • SATURDAY:  Get Ready, Get Inspired, Go! (articles on hobbies, crafts, and nature study that you AND your children will enjoy!)
  • SUNDAY:  Family Fun! (articles on simple, frugal, and FUN activities for the whole family!)

Are you drooling to read what's coming next?  I promise you are going to find constant inspiration and ideas for your journey to simplicity.  We all need encouragement, fresh ideas, and new ways of looking at the same old things.  That is what you will find in the line-up on the Journey to Simplicity in 2008.

Thirsty for more?  Also, I will be contributing articles to the Homesteadblogger's Front Porch on Tuesdays.  Each tuesday I will alternate articles on Simple & Frugal living and Goping Green!  Kris Price has an awesome new line up this year.  Check out the line up:

Tuesday

Wednesday

These are my thoughts.

Sounds great! Looking forward to it. I homeschool my two oldest dd's (6 and 5). Itty Bitty is only 1. I'm always looking for ways to simlify and frugalize (is that a word? I guess it is now!)
