Here's what she had to offer:

I save the wax paper from our cereal boxes (yes - we buy the more expensive cereal - my husband will only eat Grapenuts and my FIL only cheerios! and that is all we have, except when I am pregnant and have to have Life). I use this to line my pans when I make lasagne, enchiladas, etc and then freeze them, pop them out of my pans and refreeze in a freezer bag.
I also use this to seperate deli meats and cheeses I find on sale when I freeze those so I can use only a serving at a time.
and, whenever wax paper is needed - it is good, solid quality.

Of this, I have never heard!  This is the most fantabulous idea.  And to think, I have been throwing those away for YEARS!  I can see the limits of the usage of the wax paper bags for cereal are endless.  Thanks for sharing this coolio and most original money saving tip!  Please send me your name and addy, so I can mail you your prize.
