Tired

I am so tired, I shouldn't even be spending my time online tonight. I worked kinda hard today, cuz mom was sick, so yeah.

I don't really have anything new to say, I have a pretty boring life! I don't do that many things. Oh wait, I might have found someone interested in buying my horse Elmer, which would be really cool. It is not a good time to sell a horse. So, if anyone wants a 2-yr old pinto gelding, green broke, and really sweet, tell me! No one around here seems to be interested. This dumb horse market is reallly bad, and no one seems to be able to sell even the best horses. Well, oh well. Its only money.

Well, I'd love to stay and chat! Jk but, I really need to get some sleep, after taking a shower, and writing, and getting ready for bed... Well, g2g

P.S. Keep thinking of money raising ideas! like, my mom might be starting a business, so is there anything easy to make? She makes gunny-sack purses & aprons, which r pretty cool. I'm not that creative, but I can try.

BRRRR!

It was so cold today school was canceled for 2 hours. I spent that time homeschooling my niece and nephew. I don't really think I taught them much, but I had fun! Sometimes I like pretending to teach, maybe I'll be a teacher when I grow up! JK I don't think I have the patience.

My puppy is driving me crazy. She just won't learn that she has to go to the bathroom outside. She insists on doing it on my great-great-grandmothers handwoven rugs!

I hope people out there have some more ideas on making money! I know money isn't everything, but I feel so hopeless in raising $1000 by next year. My friend and I asked our superintendent about fundraising in school, and as my mom thought, he said it wasn't allowed even though he wished it wasn't so. (hes a christian)

I am sooooooooo excited for the missions trip. I've always wanted to go and help people like this, and now an opportunity has finally come. I feel so blessed to go, and since one of my new best friends is going, I'm even more excited. It will be a trip I'm not going to forget for a long time!

I was just watching a show where these girls want to become cheerleaders, and man, do they have to work hard! It inspired me to stretch, and even though I  feel flexible, i know I'm not! I wish I could do  a handstand, or the splits, or a flip, or a cartwheel....

You get the picture. I'm really vain, and self-consious, and I really need to work on that.

My dad just asked, what the top Ice cream flavor? Hmmm... My fave is probably natural vanilla bean or mint chip, but we think vanilla or chocolate is the most popular and most-bought.

Well, I need to go take a sauna, I love taking saunas! Thats one thing we need at our new house, my sis and I both agree about that!

Money troubles

I went to youth group wednesday, and we're doing whats called Speed the Light. Its were you raise money for missionarys and stuff, and we had to make groups of 3-4 people. My youth leader decided to make it a friendly competition, for each group to try to make $1000 dollars by next December. Whoever makes the most money, wins a gift card. Well, we ended up short on people, my group only has 2 people, me and a friend. We have no idea how to make that kind of money! Any ideas? We're thinking of asking a teacher to volunteer on "Duct Tape day" (during snow week at school) to be duct taped to the wall by students who payed for their tape.

I'm also going on a missions trip to St. Louis. Missouri! We're going to help out at the Dream Center, but its in a really bad part of town from what I hear. I'll need prayer for this one, especially for patience on the drive down! JK

Today at school we watched a meth presentation/play. I've seen so many of them. I hope the people who need that presentation will understand soon.

Well, time for bed.

Oh, and my puppies name is Twizzler. My last dog's name was Licorice, so in honor of her i named my new dog Twizzler.

Lacrosse

My gym class is playing lacrosse. That is one violent game! I was knocked right over by  another girl trying to get the ball. The same girl later got hit in the eye by someones jaw... "Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt" JK No, it was fun, but it gets kind of boring.

My puppy is getting older, and more mischevious! I tell her that Going potty is meant for outside, but she doesn't listen.

In art we're making stencils to put on shirts. I did a maze with my name "MEL" as the route to finish. Maybe if I ever finish this project I'll put a picture of it on here.

Talk, talk, talk

I went to my neighbor's house  on Saturday last minute. I had a lot of fun, i hope they did too. We talked literally for at least 5 hours, about nothing in particular. They are in 9th grade, they're identical twins, have a little bro in 7th, and have 2 little sis's. (also twins!) We also watched the movie the Princess Bride. I liked it, but it was really corny! Has anyone on this sight seen it?

Today was a regular school day. I didn't have much fun, but hey, whats new?

new semester

Wow, another semester of school. This year has gone by so fast. Maybe its because I just moved here this year, and there are all these new people to get to know. I love meeting new people. Almost everywhere I go I meet new friends.

Well, my wonderful and angelic puppy is doing wonderfully, and growing up so fast! I love her so much! She is such a sweetie!

My new classes are not as good as my last ones. I now have Science , art (our teachers really weird), gym (2nd hr is way too early for running!), and a different english class, in which I'm sure my grade will go down to at least a B.

Lop-sided cake

After church today we took sooooo long in the grocery store, and I was so hungry!

We came home and I tried to bake a cake, and that didn't turn out so good! You know how you get all these expectations and see how you want it to turn out? Well, my cake didn't turn out at all how I wanted it to. It was crumbly and messy, and lop-sided, and too sweet for my liking. Oh well, my mom says I have to start somewhere, but the problem is, I've been trying for a few years now, and I've never baked a good 2-layer cake. Oh well. I guess I'll have to give up my life-long dream of becoming a baker! JK (yeah right)

boring day

Today I didn't do anything. Sammie's friend (they're both in 2nd grade) came over. Her Friend kept trying to hang out w/ me. My mom noticed 2 and she said that it was probably because I'm so much older and her friend probably wanted to be "big". Whatever!

Anyways, be didn't do much today. Just the basic cleaning, and chores. It was a really lazy day. We did go skating on a small patch of ice in our yard, but that was really boring!

No School!!

Yesterday I walked about 1 1/2 -2 miles yesterday with my darling puppy Twizzler! She is so scared of dogs she doesn't know. I'm teaching her to sit and down. She absolutley loves the dog food, so thats what I use to train.

We also went skating in Floodwood, on the roughest rink I've ever skated on, except our old pond, but that wasn't even a rink!

I have  a lot of work to do, so I'd better go.

A Great Day!

We tied yesterday! It was a miracle, and his name was Craig. He's a guy in my class, and even when he was the only one in, we won! Each class won 5 games!

I also had a great day yesterday cuz the Elks club called our school about the report we all had to do for a contest. I got 2nd place!

Today I have a bunch of finals and tests. And I have to finish my math before next hour, so, I G2G

Dodgeball!

Today 2nd Hour my health class is playing the gym class... And we're gonna lose!

 Oh well, I hope it will still be fun! They have the more athletic people in their class, and they might put some of them onto our team. None of us want them on our team though, we'd rather play as class against class. I hope they won't rub the victory into our faces too much, but if they do, I guess I'll live!

Puppy!

School!

Wow, school can be so boring. I'm there now, but I wish I was at home! I just got a PUPPY! I am so excited. I took a day off school yesterday to drive with my mom to Solway, where there was an animal shelter. When we got there the dog I wanted was adopted but I got another one named Pickles. I changed her name to Twizzler. G2G for now.

Another day!

Today I laughed so hard! At school a friend of mine was sliding down a railing on the steps and she started to flip over! I stood frozen, watching her fall! Luckily, she held onto the banister and kept her head from smashing against the floor or railing. We laughed so hard the whole hour! LOL

We made soup in Home Ec today. It was interesting, none of my group knew what we were doing, just like last time, even though 2 of us are straight A students. We were put in charge of frying the meat, even that was too complicated!
