Fun week with Friends!
The Wood family has enjoyed spending time with friends and family the last few weeks. I have posted some photos to share with comments on special memories that were made. I hope you enjoy "peeking" into our hearts and home!
I am excited to share some new Wood family news with you as well...... This last week we had the young man that is courting my daughter stay with us. He has been a TRUE DELIGHT!!!! Shadow Chrstian has actually been a friend for several years and just asked my Joe for permission to court our Bekah. Bekah was thrilled (and so was Shadow) that daddy gave his blessing. As a momma, I can tell you that this time is precious and I am treasuring each moment as my children grow. I must tell you that as I witnessed the process Shadow went through to get his Momma and Daddys blessing as well as mine and Joes, I was blessed! His approach was precious and sweet a memory I will cherrish for years to come!!! My Joe and I are excited to see how the Lord works in this young couples life!
We are also praying and waiting to hear about our move. We have an anticipation that this week we will have more direction. The strike is being voted on starting today and expected to end on Thrusday. We also have a family working on their financing for our property and another that is coming out for the second time this Saturday. Dear Sisters, could you please keep us in your prayers this week? It would mean so much to our family to know you would give of your time to lift us up before the Father. We only want to do His will and are looking for His direction and timing!
I best close this note for now. Enjoy all the photos and don't forget to write or call soon!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood
I just love this little guy! He can say the funniest things at times!!
The children held hands and prayed on thier own. Isn't it a delight to see our children love the Lord?
The Wood family with our Beckham family friends!
The children enjoyed a day at the Lake with friends building sand castles, swimming, and trying to fish!
I am honored that the Lord allows me to really enjoy my children. I am not to busy living that I don't have time to enjoy the simple things in life. I have found it is these moments that bring me great joy!
Wood family and Fickling Friends!
Myself and two of my girls preparing to enjoy tea and goodies with our Sell Family friends!
I enjoyed the fellowship on the front porch with my Sister!
Bethany enjoyed all the animals at the Sells home! She has such a tender heart!
A day at the park with our Callis Friends
Monkey bars, playing tag (even the mommies played) rolling down the hill (yes! I rolled down the hill with my Sammy per his request) and a picnic lunch was time well spent! How blessed our day was with our Callis Friends!
Sammy just cracks me up with this "coon" hat of his!!! He loves to wear it everywhere!
A trip to the bagel shop, coffee shop and the bookstore with my dear friend Cheryl! What a delightful day!!!!
Enjoying a friendship chat over coffee!!
Matthew is REALLY enjoying his bagel with strawberry cream!
Shadow enjoyed a day at the skate park that my father oversaw.

Good Morning Mrs. Wood!
Thank you so much for praying for me. I have been out of town so I'm not sure how everything is going. My husband said the children were very well behaved. I do know that my stepson is still dating this girl from school. He isn't being very open about what happened on his weekend class trip. I wish he would be open to courting or a different way of life. Sadly, I'm kind of hoping that when school is out on Friday that the girlfriend will go away quickly.
I try to cook with the seasons also. I'm really working towards eating only what is grown in a 100 mile radius. Are you building your pantry?
Thank you again for your prayers. It makes me feel wonderful knowing I have a friend in CA praying for my family!
Have a blessed week!

Remember - if you haven't moved by the time it really heats up, you get to bring the kids for a swim and BBQ hot dog day!
