Today has been a busy day, ran many errands, picked up our new lamb and then took my Joe some lunch while he worked at the property doing road work with the tractor. We have got the family back on schedule after Joes mothers funeral. I awake at four am so that I can have my hour of personal time with the Lord, get ready for the day and do some clean up before I wake the children at six. With this schedule the peace in our home is abundant however, I must get a little nap in the afternoon to see me through till bedtime. Today with all of our activity a nap was not possible so while it is only a tad before seven pm I am off to bed after I write this post! Today has been a very blessed day and I give thanks to the Father for all He helped us accomplish. Here are the photos of our new farm addition- do you have any more name suggestions? I like the few that have been given so far. Like I mentioned in yesterdays post, all the sheep have spice names and we want to continue that pattern. Here are the names of our sheep so far: Rosemary Ginger Nutmeg Paprika Sage-the Ram
Okay, so share your creative name ideas- we are excited to have our homestead blogger friends be part of our ranch!
Have a wonderful night dear friends.... until our next chat....

At A Loss!
I thought I could come up with a catchy name, but find myself at a loss tonight... he's so cute, though....there aren't any good white spices, are there? Confection... baking powder... how about just Powder? Good luck naming him. -Chris

What about "Parsley"? You already have "Rosemary". You could call the next ones "Sage" and "Thyme"!!

Spot came to mind first. Of the names you have listed I like Nutmeg best.
I love his markings

hmmm
How about Sugar or Tarter. I like the one brown spot. Maybe you could call him cinnamon and sugar. He is adorable and keep up the great work on your yo yo quilt. I can't wait to see the progress!

OK I'm going for Basil or Cream of Tartar. LOL TOO CUTE! Roy drew the line on bringing any more "farm" animals home after I jumped the gun and got apuppy before we got moved which was suppose to be the deal. You make me anxios to get out there and start my own herd.
Have a blessed day,
Alaina
