Where has the year gone?? I took all the harvest decorations down yesterday. I will pack them all up today. I have 6 bins of autumn/harvest decorations. I didn't know I had so much! It's currently covering our table....and wow....check out the DUST on that little chair!!!!

In case you're wondering, we Canadians celebrate our Thanksgiving in mid-October as opposed to late November as it is in the U.S., thus taking the decorations down already!
When all the harvest things are packed away, then the Christmas bins will come up - all 28 of them - probably this weekend! Can you believe that - 28 bins??? Thank goodness we have a crawl space for the storage!! I wouldn't believe it myself if they weren't all mine. I love Christmas - a time when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour! I know the decorations mean nothing in the overall scope of things, but it's nice to decorate our home and enjoy the season. I have 20 years' worth of decorations, so I guess it's added up over the years! I just love Christmas decorations - I have stopped collecting stuff, though - unless it's a really, really great item!! I even went through and gave quite a bit away last year!
Our family also loves Christmas music and starting December 1st, we have Christmas music playing almost the entire month!!
Well, I'd best go and start packing my bins! Have a great day!

Just randomley reading blogs tongight and saw yours. Today is our Thanksgiving and so when I say that you already took your fall decorations down, yes, I was wondering wwhy till I finished the post.
Our Christmas music usually starts the day after Thanksgiving. I love listening to the stations that only play Christmas music starting the day after Thanksgiving.
In the US, we have Black Friday, which is supposed to be the busiest shopping day of the year - this is the day after Thanksgiving. Do you have this tradition too?
I'm in Virginia. And although we have not had snow before the new year in a long time, it has still been a shock to have 72 degree F weather today - not sure what that is in C. Been a while since I have had to do conversions. But it was perfect weather for late spring - not the middle of fall!
I can't remeber what else I was going to comment on since I can't see your post on the "comment" page.
But many blessings to you!
