Beloved Lamb

isn’t doing too well. She’s just been sitting on the bottom of the tank for about 3-4 days and I’m really starting to get worried. Dad and I tried feeding her some food, but she didn’t want it. A couple days ago, she started flipping on her side as well as sitting on the bottom. She’s 3-4 years old, so it might be old age... Dad just bought a new book called The Goldfish by Carlo DiVito.

It’s all about keeping your goldfish healthy, what diseases and types of breeds there are, etc. All I ask is that you pray for Goldie. She’s my only pet and I’d hate to lose her.  (Sure, I have other fish, but they belong to the other kids) Thank you so very much!

I think that a goldfish that old is remarkable. You must have kept her pretty healthy for her to last that long. I pray that she lives longer, but if not, at least know she had a happy home with you for that long.

I had a fish named Goldie as well!She was about 7.She was 12 inches long!She died.She had a swim bladder sickness.She was lieing on the bottom of the tank to.Don't give up hope though!My rabbit Oreo got sick about a month ago,and no one,not even the vet could find a problem with her.She hadn't eaten in two weeks straight.Shes still not eating pellets but shes eating veggies and hay and shes staying alive.I will pray for Goldie and hopefully she will get better.your friend Robyn
