Ah Thursday already!

I've been neglecting my blog!  Haven't been up to a whole lot, laundry as usual and I cleaned up some clutter from the living room today.  I'm so excited, I got my new frog today!  It's an albino African Clawed frog..they're totally aquatic so they don't out of the water, but they have lungs like us so they have to come up for air.  My other frog is a boy is this one I ordered is a girl.  Hippy (the boy) has been croaking for a while which is sign he wants to mate.  Poor Pearl (the girl) as soon as she went to the bottom of their tank Hippy latched right onto her back!  It's been hilarious to watch them.  This page has a picture showing what it looks like when the male hangs onto a female.  Pearl is in for a long night! LOL  Even when she goes up for air he'll swim up after her and hook onto her.  Hippy is about 7 months old now, I've had him since a little before Christmas.
  Welp time for bed!

Blessings,

Monday Monday

AH a busy day today.  I have felt tired and lazy the last 2 weeks and haven't gotten much done. So Today I"m trying to get caught back up.  I cleaned the boys' room out somewhat...Ethan thought it would be fun to dump a bag of Kix onto their floor, so for the last week when you walk in their room your feet crunch...I couldn't stand it anymore. Rach cleaned her room up some.  I've done some laundry and I have a loaf of bread rising in the oven.
Jerm told me a couple weeks ago that he wants Rach to start public school in 3rd grade, which will give me 1 more year home with her.  I am saddened, totally.  I think she'll do fine with the other kids, but she is a follower.  I just hate to think of all the junk she'll bring home with her.  I know he is the head of the household and his decision is final, but I just feel like I've been left of out the decision-making in this matter.  I don't even know if he's prayed about this or what.  Issac starts kindy this fall and has no interest in being homeschooled.  I know it took Rach a while to get used to it, but doesn't it take all kids time to get used to something new?  *sigh*

  Have a nice evening all.

Blessings,

Happy Mother's Day!

Today was kinda nice.  I got a Mom "award" and card from the kids.  They personalized it with their fingerprints.  So sweet!  MIL got me a maternity shirt that says "Mood swing in progress...Please stand by."  Haha that is so me, even when I'm not pregnant!  LOL  That's actually kind of sad I guess, but oh well.  She also gave me a nice pic of the kids she took of them at Easter.  I was telling hubby yesterday that we've not had a family portrait done with Ethan yet...it's been about 5 years since we've had a professional one made.
Jerm said that only about 6 stalks of corn are coming up right now...we had some hard rain today so I pray that it will help.  It's been so dry.
My allergies have been driving me crazy...my eyes get so dry that my contacts blur and I can barely see unless I put drops into my eyes.  Whenever we have the extra money I want to go get a pair of glasses to have on hand.
Oh if you're looking to get into a franchise here's a nice list.

Have a nice Sunday evening!

Blessings,

Saturday here

Jerm took me out to eat today for Mother's Day.  It was nice!  We went to a Mexican place here since I'm craving so much of it.  I really like chile rellenos right now so that's what I got, and I Had fried ice cream for dessert.  YUM!  Mom gave my a rose bush and we got her a pink dogwood tree.  I never could figure out what to get her so I just asked her what kind of trees she likes LOL.  The boys went with us and Rach stayed with Mom & Dad.  Ethan was goofing off and fell on his head onto the floor.  I just looked over and wondered where he went, I couldn't see him LOL  Little stinker.  I am already ready for bed, I may try and take a nap here soon.
I thought this info on low cost life insurance was interesting.

Oh, I FINALLY got a mouse for my laptop, IWas so sick of using the touchpad all the time!

Yay it's Friday

Well I think we're all feeling some better, thank you Jesus!  Although this morning I see Ethan's cheeks are shiny from his smearing snot on his face LOL.
Yesterday was Rachelle's Kindermusik graduation.  I was afraid she would be shy again this year but she did GREAT!   Her teacher Ms. Lisa wanted each child to do 3 songs: 1 on the glockenspiel, 1 on recorder, and 1 on dulcimer.  She played Lucy Locket on glockenspiel and Bell Horses on recorder.  We were SO proud of her!  Of course I got it on video   She also got her graduation certificate and trophy...I was tickled the trophy had her name on it!  I took her to McD's afterwards since that's where she wanted to go.
Praise Report:  My car FINALLY sold!  It was a bit less than I wanted to get out of it, but we didn't lose anything off what we sold it for.  We're able to pay off 1 large bill and a couple other small ones, which means there's nothing left for me to get a grain mill with, but that's ok.  I'm just thankful to have some extra money each month for groceries or to pay extra on another bill.
I got a case of quart jars yesterday...I want to get some cukes to make pickles!  I'm anxious for our strawberries to come out so I can make jam with them.  All of a sudden I Want heavy cream so I can make whipped cream and have waffles with strawberries!  Yum!

Have a good day!

Can I go back to bed now? BLAH!

Ugh I think Jerm gave me his ick.  I feel like a big pile of doo.  I think it's a sinus infection or a bad cold...I just feel sick. I'm gonna hafta buy more kleenex Friday when Jerm gets paid, this is just crazy!  I've sneezed so much my throat feels like raw meat.  I called my OB to get them to call me in an antibiotic.  he sandwich I'm trying to eat makes me feel yucky, but I know if I don't eat I'll feel pukey.  Oh well can't win for losing!

Yawn crazy day

I got 3 loads of laundry done today, but only 2 loads hung out.  I made 3 loaves of bread, 1 of which is half gone LOL. I must say my bread made with my new mixer came out mighty tasty!
Had to run to the bank earlier and stopped at the grocery store to pick up some Sierra Mist.  I've been craving pop since I haven't had much lately...I think it's the carbonation I crave more than anything.
I've been feeling kind of sick...my nose is runny and stuffy, my ears feel stopped up, esp after I blow my nose.  I"m glad I bought those Vicks Kleenex last week!  I wish I could stop sneezing already, this junk is for the birds.
Tacos were on the menu tonight, they were so good!  I just love Mexican food.
Oh if you're looking for  mortgage lenders here are some I found.

Have a good evening!

Looks like another busy day for me

Isn't it always, though? LOL  Last week was hectic so I didn't get all my housework done, SO I'm making up for it this week!  Jerm bought new clothesline yesterday and got it put up, so now I can hopefully catch up most of my laundry today.  I need to do dishes, sweep/mop the kitchen, tidy the living room, pick up and vacuum the boys' room.  I vacuumed the living room yesterday, that was a site.  I looked like a hunchback because Ethan (the 3 year old) pulled the handle out of my vacuum cleaner and I never could find it.  Maybe I'll find it today.  Issac lost Jerm's padlock for the shed so he's got to go searching for that later on when it warms up some more.  I think we're having tacos for supper tonight, that will be yummy!
Now it looks like you can get Phentermine without prescription.

Have a great day!

Blessings,

A nice hot day

Well it's near 80 today...I'm about to boil!  I was out hanging clothes on the line, but the line fell again, so we're gonna hafta find a better line and put up a middle post...the lines are 50 feet long.  Oh well, so much for saving a lot of money this month!
I got an ice cream pie and some double chocolate ice cream from Schwan's today...YUM!  Can't wait to try those!  I've been on a chocolate tooth lately...more so than usual anyways.
I'm impatiently waiting for UPS to bring my Bosch mixer today!  I can't wait to try it out!  Woo!  Of course by the time it gets here it will prolly be too late to make any bread.  Guess that will be for tomorrow!
I was browsing around at car stuff because we're car buffs in this family and came across these Cadillac grills.  Nice!
Supper is in the crockpot...I made Spicy Veggie Beef soup, hope they like it.  Rach already griped because it has tomatoes and peas in it.  Sheesh!

Blessings,

The Meat Loaf recipe

1.5 lbs ground round
1 pouch dry onion soup mix
1 cup ketchup, divided
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbls worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbls light brown sugar
1 tsp prepared mustard

*Combine ground round, soup mix, 1/2 cup ketchup, and next 6 ingredients; shape mixture into an 8x4-inch loaf.  Place loaf in a lightly greased 3 quart oval slow cooker.
*Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour.  Reduce heat to LOW and cook 3 hours.  Remove ceramic insert from cooker and pour grease off meat loaf.  Return insert to cooker.
*Stir together remaining 1/2 cup ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard in a small bowl; spread over meatloaf.
*Cover and cook on LOW 1 more hour or until meat loaf registers 160 degrees.  Remove meat loaf form ceramic insert and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
*Makes 6 to 8 servings.

I didn't make this in my slow cooker, I just did it in a loaf pan in the oven on 350 degrees.

Welp off to shop for laptop memory since it seems a little slow!

Another busy day

My best friend had a PartyLite party today...it was fun, but man their stuff is expensive!  I did buy a dozen tealight candles though, they have a new scent called Fig & Olive Grove...I just love figs!  We stayed over there for 4 or 5 hours I'd say.  Jerm has been kind of sick the last few days and was gonna go with me and hang out with our friend but he barely had the energy for his shower so he stayed home and rested.  I bought him some O.J. and some Vicks Kleenex.   I've got supper in the oven now..I found arecipe for slow cooker meatloaf, although we didn't get home in time to slow cook it, and if I"d have done it earlier I don't think it would taste as good.  I may post the recipe in a few.
I've been thinking about having a specific prayer request each week in addition to my regular prayers...this week I think it'll be for those in or in need of alcohol rehab.  It's so sad to think about those who are dependent on something like that.

Well I'm gonna dig up my meatloaf recipe and post it in a minute.

Blessings,

What's everyone getting for Mother's Day?

I think it's safe to say that the Bosch mixer I won on eBay is my present!  Which is perfectly fine with me!  Jerm knows what he wants to get MIL,I think he said a scanner because her brothers are in law enforcement and that way she can hear what goes on.  I'm still unsure what to get Mom...maybe one of these Parmigiani watches or something.  I just really don't know, maybe I'll take her out to eat.  Or maybe I'll ask Rach what she thinks LOL.

Off to eat my Chef Boyardee pizza!

Blessings,

Whew what a day!

I went to the Olive Garden today with my best friend to eat lunch.  We always get the soup, salad, and breadsticks for $5.95  It was good as always!  Then I went to Food City to finish up most of the rest of my grocery shopping.  I got a box of Pickle Crisp and a pack of freezer jam pectin, and a pack of plastic freezer jars.  As soon as our strawberries are ready me and the kiddos can make some jam!  I can't wait!  We'll prolly give away a couple of them.  I also got my waffle maker today!  I can't wait to try it out tomorrow morning.
My darn pens keep going missing, guess I need to go pick up some bic pens while I'm at my friend's house tomorrow.  She's having a candle party so of course I'll be there even if I don't buy anything.

Blessings,

What a busy week

For some reason I feel like this week has been going non-stop.  After my big u/s yesterday I went to Walmart and bought some cute blue camo and green frog flannel to make some more diapers with.  We also got our new king mattress set so I had to buy a bed set for it.  I had a coupon for Toys R Us to get $5 off a $25 purchase, so I got Rach her birthday presents.  Today Rach has music class and I also need to do some grocery shopping.  Someone is supposed to come look at my car this evening (PLEASE BUY MY CAR!)  Hopefully tomorrow will be somewhat normal.
I'm a little concerned about Mom...I've noticed her using the closed captioning on her TV more often.  It's like pulling teeth to get her to go to the Dr so I'm not sure it'll do any good to say anything.  Oh well.  She cried yesterday when I showed her my u/s pics...my boy is quite handsome!

We got a new bed today

Thank you Jesus!  2 people are not meant to sleep on a full size bed, so today we got a king size.  I miss having a king bed, it's so roomy!  Of course, our room is small so there's really no room to walk on either side of the bed, but that's a small price to pay for  comfort   The kids have been outside using the old mattress as a trampoline, they've had a blast with that!  I got a nice bed set to go with it, I think it's called Out of Africa.  It wasn't the one I wanted but it's still nice, and it has everything with it, we just need to get King sized pillows I reckon.
I would love to get a bigger TV for the living room, a nice large tv that we could mount it up with an lcd mount or something.  Knowing our luck though it would fall off the wall ROFL.  If we didn't have bad luck we'd have no luck at all!

Blessings,

My face is YUCK!

I told my husband I need a new head and new skin.  My head/sinuses are always stuffy and my face breaks out a lot from the pregnancy, and the rest of my skin is dry and nasty!  Blah!  I don't know about you but I've tried so many different kinds of acne treatment it isn't funny.  There is one kind I've found that works pretty well when I think to use it and really need it LOL.  My poor honey, he had really bad acne when he was growing up, but his skin's not as bad as it used to be thank goodnes.

I'm such a paranoid person sometimes!

I think being pregnant makes it worse LOL  My worst fear is losing one of the children or not living long enough to see them grown.  I think a lot of it is because Mom had breast cancer a few years back...about 8 years ago actually.  Thank the Lord she's a survivor, but it just increased my fear, and cancer is something I'm most afraid of.  The fact here are so many kinds doesn't make it better.  I'm more likely to have breast cancer now since Mom had it, and so Rachelle is more at risk as well.  There are some I'm sure I won't have to worry about, like mesothelioma.  I guess it's only natural to have worries, which tells me I need to walk in the Holy Spirit more and give it to God.

Also exciting....my ultrasound is Wednesday morning, so less than 3 days to go!  WOOT!
