7 Rules of Behavior

1. No unkind words to anyone
Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. -Psalm 141:3 (NIV)

2. No physical harm to anyone
But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. -Matthew 5:39 (NIV)

3. No backtalk
My mouth is filled with Your praise, declaring Your splendor all day long.
-Psalm 71:8 (NIV)

4. No tattling (unless emergency)
Do not go about spreading slander about your people. -Leviticus 19:16a (NIV)

5. No bad attitude
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. -Proverbs 12:1 (NIV)

6. No destruction of property
The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish. -Proverbs 14:11 (NIV)

7. No grumbling or complaining
Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation... -Phillippians 2:14-15

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat.". -2 Thessalonians 3:10
