Incredible weight loss plan
Posted on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 09:12
How I lost 14 pounds overnight with no fad diets or drugs and only three hours of physical exertion!
Oh, and I got a really sweet baby out of the deal. =)
Thank you so much for all your prayers. Our little was born at home at 5:41 this morning. She weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz and is "practically perfect in every way." All the hard work (three hours of labor and the nine months prior) was so worth it. She and I are healthy and well. I'm blessed beyond belief to have such wonderful friends assist at the birth and it couldn't have gone better.
Photos and details to come, as I feel up to it.
Now all eyes on you, Rachel, Ashley, and Sara! Around here my very own sister is next in line, expecting in mid March. I'm so glad to be on the other side of the pregnancy and am praying for you all!

Oh how thrilling! I'm so excited for you, and so glad it all went well for you. 3 hour labour - wonderful! You had me fooled for a minute with that title! LOL! Looking forward to hearing more about it as you have time. Enjoy these precious first days.

YEAH! I have been watching your preparations and waiting for the news. I am stepping out of my previous comfort zone to have a homebirth this time too, and while it is extremely restful to me, my mom is having fits (quiet fits, but fits nonetheless). I am glad to know everything went well.

Congratulations on that new baby of yours. What a delight that it took you such a short time and the delivery went well. Get your rest now (HA) and post us some pics as soon as possible.

About Me

Did you ever split a cookie between two kids and hear each of them ask for the "bigger" half? With several beautiful acres in southeast Missouri, the beginnings of a homestead and six wonderful children, we really feel like we've been blessed by our Creator with more than our share. And we'd like to, well, share some of it with you here. (Clicking on the images at the top should take you straight to my totally unorganized photo page.)
