We are having lovely Autumn days.James had Todd stay the night - Brent got the pee wee going for them & they had fun blatting around paddock. He cooked them up a mega feed of bacon, sausages & chips for their lunch (as I was meant to be at hairdressers). Then it was target shooting with the slug gun. A good Boys day. Did Brent wonders too ,not working but hanging out with the young fellas.
Abbey was off her oats, - I don't think I shared Thursday night I just came down quickly with the chills. Brent arrived home from working in Nelson with me in bed with heaps of covers on. Friday morning I got up made his lunch but went back to bed. I slept until 1pm where I got up as promised to pick up Todd - plus needed to get cat meat & Abbeys next quilt block, plus we brought our veges & fruit from road side stores. Came home & went to bed. Then I was fine Saturday morning... go figure.
For me to be in bed is a big deal - I spend the least amount of my life in bed.
I was very proud of our kids. Friday morning they did all my chores, all the cats & kittens - fed themselves etc... and for school James couldn't do much without me as up to new units. He did art & they got out board games. I am very proud of their wise choices & sure beamed when I had a bathroom stop to see them playing scrabble. Way to go kids they really know what Brent & I think of x box, computer games & TV.
Abbey cooked everyone tea, tacos & apple pie (stuffed apples for James), Brent played the game of life with the kids
So what ever lurgy I had Abbey has something similar as very quite Saturday & tucked herself up in bed early.
