The over 11 years home school group begun 10 pin bowling.I was able to get an awesome price for our group of $5.70 per person including mums!
Everyone had a ball!!! - The kids just wanted to bowl - so next time will be a bit more formal with lessons. These will be without pins. We had some small lessons with how the scoring is done - (it went right over my head). I had never noticed dots on the floor or arrows - before - not sure if these will help my bowling.
And we got to go out the back & see all the actual machines. - Seeing these sure makes you appreciate the investment the owners have put into Bowl Land.
Rob our tutor was brilliant with the kids. He shared that originally it was 9 pin bowling. But a lot of gambling went on in USA - so government banned betting on 9 pins - hence they got around this by introducing 10 pins.
Now us mums need to polish up & beat these kids!
