Well that's not true but how about I didn't like this weeks Monday.A trip to the vet confirmed my nagging worry - the kittens hearts were in a bad shape - verdict they had to be put down. Man I felt sad.
Vet feels it had been caused by the mother cat having an infection - she had a c section ($900.00 vet bill by the way) - Not a fun time in the world of cat breeding. To top it I had to ring the new owners & tell them the sad news - man I felt bad - people book 4 - 5 months in advance for one of our kittens & follow the kittens growing via cat blog & website. I totally felt devastated for them.
It's never happened before in 6 years of breeding - we have very healthy cats & kittens - it's just one of those things - but one I hope never to have to go through again.
Most of Monday I was a zombie - the lack of sleep since Friday night & the upset wacked me. I took James to Sea scouts & slept for 1 1/2 hours in the car. I even admitted to Brent I had tea organised - but could we just have baked beans on toast or something. He is awesome & no problem - he even cooked it & had it ready for when James & I got home.
Abbey had fed all the cats for me & done the cattery,- all I had to do was dirt boxes.
I was thinking life as a cat breeder must be interesting if you were a fly on the wall.
EG James & I had the conversation the other night that went like this.
Me _ James why are your jocks (undies) in the kitten pen?
James - Laugh
Me James! get your jocks out of the kitten pen they are playing with them!
Yep James had had his shower & the kittens had stolen his jocks as a new toy - it did look funny but not really suitable for a clean blog such as mine - nor is it appropriate for me to sap a photo when the kittens are lying in your jocks while you are on the throne.

Caro with her litter,we always have a litter of kittens in our home!
Some of our Sheep & this years lambs; won’t tell you which are going in pot
