All week I have done very little except study - I just want to get the course finished & do things I want to do. I have enjoyed parts of the course & learnt lots - but really haven't enjoyed the anatomy part - as if I am actually interested in which artery valve does what or which is a long bone - but I have finished all the 10 assignments on anatomy (thank goodness) And only have 1 1/2 big assignments to go on ruminants to go and I am finished!!!! And No I will not be taking on any more study - that urge has been fully fulfiled - I just haven't the spare time to study, home school, garden, breed cats, help with farmlet let alone get to any of my hobbies of quilting & scrapbooking..
But I am pleased Brent talked me into finishing it, the kids have seen me just knuckle down & do it - plus seen the frustration study often has. Abbey was nice and made me brain food - some yummy biscuits! Both kids are just about x boxed & movied out I know they are looking forward to me being finished & being an active role in their life again. But soo worth the last few weeks just hitting the books to get it done.
We normally would of started back book work by now - but I need a break so probably another 2 weeks of holiday before we start back (schools don't go back to 8th Feb)
I am itching to get my nose in a new book - the library has rung & I am first in line to read a brand new book - yes no other person has read it before me - the snob in me misses buying books - so it's quite a thrill to hold a brand new book in my hands again to enjoy. it's Road to paradise by Paullina Simons. So heres hoping I can finish the assignments today & go pick up the library book Friday - now that's self control - well not actually as I know if book was in house I would start reading it. So if I collect book Friday & then take kids & their friends to pool Friday - I can lie and read all day while kids are swimming & having fun! BLISS.
Brent is home tonight so thats a good thing.
