FIAR introduced us to our tradition of Cranberry Thanksgiving, which we have celebrated for 9 years now.Normally we have it on NZ Friday so we are having our meal with USA on their Thursday. This year we chose to do it Sunday as Abbey was asked to babysit for another home schooling family (Kayla) plus she also was meant to be babysitting Saturday.
Abbey prepared the whole meal. She cooked, cleaned & polished the silver ware while we were outside doing the concrete.
We had mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, turkey with stuffing, gravy & cranberry bread. And for desert we had apple & rhubarb with home made pastry.
Abbey set the table beautifully and the meal was excellent.

Afterwards as per our family tradition we wear Santa hats, play Christmas music (jewel & Kenny G are my favourite) and decorate the tree.
