Yesterday the family told me to GO, go out & have fun!
I felt real guilty as should be at home cleaning, should be at home studying, should be at home making lunch for Brent & James who were staying home busy making my next cat run for cattery….
I dropped Abbey off on the way to her friends & picked up my mum to take her for a drive.
The main reason was to go to The Cloth Shop as I have been in their Saturday Sampler block all year – and yes mine isn’t finished – I have got in the too “perfect” mode so wanted Brent to help me cut the blocks out – but well we just haven’t got around to it….
It was fun to see the different ways you could finish the 9 blocks into a quilt, I have chosen my method – sadly there isn’t pictures yet up on their web site – soon I hope so I can share with you.
I was very good & didn’t sign up for next years Saturday Sampler. Next year I want to get back into finishing what I have started – my friend Jennifer, pointed out to me I am not a finisher – yes that is true but I have such fun starting soo many things & always doing something –
So I was very good & brought nothing…. Until I was nearly home at The Cherry Pie patch & I brought an advent pattern – you can view it here at Hatched & Patched web site. – my one is “It’s Christmas Time” – I’m going to start this in February & have it finished for next Christmas – so my impulse purchase last week now has a reason.
Abbey found this road while she was walking with her friend & made me drive down to it – so I could BLOG ….. Both our names are hard to find written on anything spelt our way fun stuff…..

And it's way cool - black top I am wearing is way too baggy - it's a good thing!
