New Zealand is cleaning up after the storm pretty amazing how it has touched the whole country. My brother was stuck in a convoy of trucks in the South Island - had to sleep the night as roads were closed. More bad weather is forecast - I hope it is over with soon as we have lambs due next week.We did school in the morning then Abbey baked Ginger Crunch & My favourite Hedgehogs
I had finally remembered to soak the chickpeas over night - so got them boiling away for two hours, put the breadmaker to dough cycle to make pitta breads.

Finally after I do not know how long got out the sewing machine. Both kids had friends over & they just mucked about.
I worked on Crazy Mom's 8th Star block - nearly finished, just having me cuppa tea & blogging time then I will be back to the machine. - Yep it's 5am - best part of me day!
