Saturday was a wet winters day - not too cold - but wet!My day was filled with people visiting & collecting their kittens. Top photo is of litter 1 week, 1 day old. We had some lovely kids come & their eyes were huge feeding all the other animals - they all come running when the nut bucket is rattled. I think sometimes we really take for granted the lifestyle our family has - we love animals and do get such joy from them all.
This photo is of two that were meant to go yesterday - but the little girl had pulled out her stitches. - so she is confined to bathroom pen with litter mate to keep her quite. I felt real mean for the new family. One of the best parts of our hobby is meeting all the people & seeing the joy our kittens give. One couple shared how their previous kitten sadly had been run over - he used to go on Friday nights to the fish n chip shop, go on the cat lead & get them.
I did zip out & get some fresh food - I hadn't been shopping & fresh fruit & veges was just about zero. While out I had to buy some flies for the frogs - $8.50 - too funny buying flies.....I know some of my friends would think I was mad but our frogs have lasted for such a long time - it would be sad to see anything happen to them. They are quite entertaining to watch!
The kids were great - the training is all well worth it in the end - I could rattle off what chores needed doing & they both did some while I was busy with kitten owners & out shopping. They are really having fun playing on the Sims - they set the timer for 30 mins each & while one was on playing the other did chores - then they swapped.

Caro with her litter,we always have a litter of kittens in our home!
