4th March this year I began the process of going grey & have blogged about it here and Here
Yesterday I went to a new hairdresser - BIG step for me. When I met her I just knew we clicked! I got my hair cut - it hasn't been this short since I was 18 years old. - now just below my collar - didn't think to take a before & after shot!
I love it!!!! Met with a friend for coffee to show her, another friend popped in to see it. buzzzzzz
I've been going grey naturally for years. My gf keeps after me to color it but once you do that you have to keep doing it every 6 weeks. I don't even have the money to get a hair cut twice a year let alone color every 6 weeks. So I got natural too. Just a part of life I guess we have to live with. I'm greyer than my brothers that is 7 & 3 years older than me. Oh, well we live on. The Bible talks about the grey hair so I feel honored.
A warm welcome to our families daily
blog. "Living The Good Life"
We are a family of four & I’m the
luckiest girl I know! Married to my best friend for over 21 years, raising two
wonderful children on our 3 acre farmlet in New Zealand.
I was a Bank Manager in previous life
(before kids) and now a kept women - home schooling our two kids. Brent
is a Service Projects Manager and brings home the bacon for the family.
We got
"off the bus" ie away from continual comsumption & accumulation of
material goods & find much joy in living a simple life.
I enjoy writing & sharing views on
living a simple life, menu planning, living on one income in a two income world,
home schooling, dyslexia, severe food allergies, raising coloured sheep, goats
& hens, quilting, reading, cooking, gardening and of course cats.

The
best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes,
flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you.
Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes,
certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.
