Yesterday was an exciting day ... frugal and not-so-frugal! First, my daughter and I went to Sears to exchange a pair of pants that she liked, but that I had chosen in the wrong size. While there, we hit the Clearance section again and I purchased over $530 worth of tops (24 of them) for $108! Can you believe that? Jenna and I can share them if we want and they even included a bunch of short-sleeved tops for this summer. Jenna put a bunch of them away for the fall for school. All in all, a fantastic purchase! Then, of course, we bought our new puppy (see post below for pictures). Honestly, I'm going to need some addiction treatment soon as Shadow is such a great puppy and I just want to hold him and play with him all day long! He doesn't bark, will play well by himself in his crate and nap in there, too. Right now, we are just taking him out to the bathroom every 3-4 hours and so starts the house-training. I've never done it before so I hope that we can be successful with that.
We spent the morning getting some pre-cooking done for the youth Easter breakfast at church tomorrow. The fellowship hall looks spring-y and I hope we are able to raise the extra funds needed for youth expenses for church camps in 2008. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's services and to celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

I have been diagnosed with insulin resistance and PCOS. This makes it difficult to lose weight, but I am
trying my best to get healthy again. I am back to walking and weight training, beginning in September. I hope
to add in some yoga soon as well - I've never tried it, but have always wanted to! I am currently
seeing a chiropractor and massage therapist regularly to try and get my back realigned properly again, too.
My current eating plan is focused on eating gluten-free foods "from the original garden." I believe that I have food
sensitivities and am trying to figure out which items set off the symptoms (rash, upset stomach, etc.).
