... Do you need to keep track of rebates? ...
I was sent some information by email about a program that can help you keep track of the rebates that you submit for each month. It is called FYI and you can view a video of some of its features here. The website has lots of information about this rebate tracking and home inventory software which currently retails for only $7.97! Once you view the video, you'll know exactly how to use the software to keep track of those rebates.
The FYI program also has modules to track vehicles, furniture, books, software, videos, audios and more. They're variations of the inventory module. Most insurance companies recommend that we keep a listing of our appliances and electronics as well as information about ALL of the items in our home in the case of burglary or fire. This program will allow you to keep all of this information in one place where it can also be easily modified as you buy and sell items in your home.
Here are some of the other features of the program as outlined by its creator, Mr. Fuller.
SORT & SEARCH: Most columns can be sorted in ascending order by clicking the column
header once, and in descending order by clicking the column header a second
time. Then the column can be searched by typing any part of what you
are looking for. NOTE: Column headers ending with [x] are not sortable.
To sort more than one column, hold the control key while clicking the
2nd, 3rd, etc. column headers.
OTHER SEARCHES: Other searches available are Search Any Column(s) and
Search All Columns. These are more self explanatory.
EVENTS: Events can be added to library and inventory items, rebates, coupons and people.
They can then be viewed in chronological order on the Event Log. The Event Log
can be sorted and searched, as mentioned above in SORT & SEARCH.
TODO's: Events with a Date Due filled in will show up in the ToDo List. They
are sorted by Date Due. They stay there until the Date Done is entered,
at which time they can be viewed as completed on the Event Log.
LASTLY: This program is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater.
So, if you are looking for an inexpensive program to use to keep track of items in your home or rebates that you submit throughout the year, check out FYI!
