I feel like I've totally wasted this day ... I still have so much that I need to do, but if I'm going to sit down and write out my 'to-do' list, then I'm going to go ahead and put it out there for me to see everytime I get online.
My CVS has revamped their coupon policy and so I won't be able to get such good deals as I have in the past. They are no longer allowing their customers to stack their coupons. This means that I'm really going to have to be sure that I am getting the most 'bang for my buck' each time I go in there. They are still allowing 2 cards per household, so I can take advantage of some deals twice with both of our cards. Even without allowing the stacking of coupons, I still did pretty well today, getting about $55 worth of merchandise for $7. I used my ECB's to buy some items that we were low on plus some groceries. I did the same at Walgreens today, too.
Plans for the week include:
- figure out menus and groceries needed for February; stick within budget of $400 for month for ALL groceries and hygiene and pet items; figure out where CVS and Walgreens rebates can help in this goal
- work on 4-H and Youth group activities for February; finalize any plans and get Ian working on his 4-H project which is due early April (just need to get a bunch of info recorded on forms)
- keep food diary and drinks lots of water! Get in 2 sessions of weight-training and try a class at fitness center; look into swimming as cardio
- get items needed for learning how to make rag quilt on Friday
- mail bills on payday
I know there is more that I need to take care of, but these are the biggies for me off the top of my head. I have a lot to get in order this week, so I'll see you when I see you! Have a great week!
