Getting
... Healthy ...

I have been diagnosed with insulin resistance and PCOS. This makes it difficult to lose weight, but I am trying my best to get healthy again. Unfortunately, I am also gluten intolerant and have allergies to several other foods - tomatoes and peppers. I have also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and rheumatoid arthritis. My goal for 2010 is to lose 25-30 lbs. and hope that the weight loss will help improve my health.

Starting weight:
1/01/09 - 166 lbs.
1/29/09 - 164 lbs.

... Schedules ...

:: My Daily Schedule::

5:30am - get up and exercise; get ready for the day
7:30am - kids to school
8-9am - errands/homekeeping
9-Noon - work
Noon - Lunch/homekeeping
1-2:30pm - finish up work, if needed

The afternoons vary depending upon our evening schedules, but they are generally spent helping the kids with their homework, exercising several afternoons a week, getting dinner ready, homekeeping, etc.

6pm - dinner & clean kitchen
7pm - final email check for work

The rest of the evening is spent straightening the house for the next day, finishing up homework with the kids, and relaxing by the TV or with a good book! I need to make some time for my hobbies, but I'm really enjoying reading books right now!

Housekeeping
:: Schedule::

I use the Motivated Moms Planner for my daily schedule. My children have weekend chores which really helps me a LOT! I do laundry as it fills the sorter and straighten the house every morning and evening.

:: Exercise Plan ::
My basic plan is to work up to 45 minutes of cardio, 20 min. of strength training and 20 min. of yoga/flexibility work daily.
