thinking outside of oneself....

This year, my kids and I are taking the whole month of December off...off from books, study, etc and concentrate more on giving and serving others. Has anyone read No Greater Joy Books from the No Greater Joy website? Wow, these books are amazing! Anyway, back to what I was saying. We are taking the month off for December to cover two things. Giving of the heart, and giving of oneself. We are currently making a list of things we would like to do to serve others. It could include making bread for new neighbors and old, dog treats for their pups, the service industry, people that service others on a continue basis in their field, paying or non-paying services. Last year we did a $5 challenge which was fun and creative. This year it needs to be a service to others. Lately, I purchased for my Christmas/birthday gift a BOSH mixer...oh, I just love that thing! A wonderful Christian lady sold me one from her site http://www.marmeedear.com/store/ Sweet and gentle soul she is. Well, day is dawning...better get going. Son is off with dad going to work for half a day. Still have two more at home. Hope all have a very happy and yummy bird. Lisa |
