beautiful day!
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood......a beautiful day in the beightborhood...you will do time, in a salt mine....you will do slave labor... oops... wrong song.......

Well, its Friday people! Oh joy shall be shared!

As usually, I could not wait to give my hubby his birthday present. I watched a show called Made in America and they showed some Kentuky burbon called Maker's Mark they make here in the states. So I purchased some for him. It is to be very smooth for a drink. So I allowed him to open it and needless to say he was excited and eager to try it. The first thing I ask if it was smooth. He offered the glass to me and I took a very small sip. With a cough and a grin and I told him that it was smooth. ( yeah, can't you tell I drink?)    He thanked me for the rest of the night and told me he would be saving it for his birthday brisket he plans on cooking. The kids are purchasing a small quanity of Godiva chocolate pumkins that are seasonal. (no, can't go there like we use to)

My mom is coming for my husband's birthday. (she just loves him. and to her he does no wrong) from 5 1/2 hours to 2 1/2... what's not to like? And now that she is retired from the school distrist (secretary of 20 something years) The old gal keeps herself busy and still gets around...

oh you will love this. She is wanting the '07 Highlander. I told her she could get a '06 on sale... but NOOOOOOO.. she wants a new one.

Oh, the kids and I are going to a Texas Wifelife Expo here in Austin tomorrow. This should be fun. Daddy is staying home with the littlest memeber of our family as he does not like crowds.
