our new subdivision has trees!
In our new sub there are alot of young tree growing. In FACT in our *to be* front yard is a young tree growing. It has fallen over but has won the good fight in living. It is laid on the ground but the *branches* have grown into small trees. It is very intresting to see. I will have to take a picture of it so everyone can enjoy what I am talking about. Even hubby said, "gez, lis, if this tree worked this hard to live and grow, just leave it alone."  I will gladly clear the other weeds around it. Maybe a few sapplings around it. Not sure just quite yet. It would make an intresting add in to our front yard as ours is the only house that has this small cluster of trees growing about the fallen one. Maybe 'll just clean it up a bit and give the small trees a chance. It would certainly act as a *block* from the evening sun. It is almost like a miniture woods being so sweet and all. The only tree my hubby says HAS to go is the Cedar. He hates it. (it's in the backyard) But he said I can have all the others. *fine with me*   I plan on planting fast growing trees within my fence line for privacy. They are to grow 3-5 feet a year. I think that allows for plenty of privacy.  Well, that is about all for now. I'll try and be good and post more. love you all....... lisa

I loved your story about your tree, Lisa! May it keep growing strong for generations to come. New trees bring such hope.
