another beautiful day

Hello from Leander, Texas.

My oldest is biting at the bit to get donuts this morning. hee hee.

Our Scotty dog got out yesterday.

Thankfully, the animal control found him and were so nice to let us know where he was. I was told by the officer most of the ladies in the office were ready to adopt him on the spot. She told them to, "Back off, he has an owner"....lol So we need to get them registered in our new town within the next 10 days. (no problem there)

We will be glad to!! It was a slow day yesterday. I gave the kids a needed break from their studies. They had worked so hard Monday when the dryer broke getting the clothes out of the wash and hanging them to dry. I actually begged my husband to NOT purchase a dryer right away. (yeah, strange right?) heehee We actually like hanging laundry and the kids enjoy their clothes coming back inside smelling so fresh. (It is plenty hot here and takes no time at all for them to dry) Well, I am being reminded about donuts... I better get ready...thanks for reading...~me

over a year ago. I won't replace it either. I like hanging the clothes, outside in the warm months, down stairs with the wood stove in the winter. If we didn't hang them down there, we'd still have to run up and down to check a pot of water any way ...
Congrats on the peaches! We're still learning as we go with that too - but loving every minute of it!

Hi, Lisa - I got a giggle reading your posts and it answered a couple of the questions I asked in my message to you. So which side of the room are you on tonight, the cool side or the (gasp!) OTHER side? Looking forward to more of your Texan posts. -Chris
