A Quiet Little Woman

You can tell you're a farmgirl when...

...your most favorite magazine is a seed magazine and the most anticipated package of all year is... seeds!  We've been ordering from a GREAT seed company called SEED SAVERS  whose mission is to stop heirloom varities from going out of existence.  When you look through their magazine you'll see things that you never would have thought of... like strawberry spinach (actually has little berries on it), black tomatoes, and other strange things!  We just got our order a couple of days ago, and are getting ready to plant things inside tonight (the last frost date here is in May, so we have awhile!)  Here is the list of what we are planting... I'm so excited!!

Sounds wonderful! I do hope you take many pictures! :-)
I can't wait to get out in the dirt, but it's still just a little too cold.

Sounds like a wonderful magazine. I might check out the link.
Your garden sounds great! I would like to plant some popcorn, I have never planted it.

Belle

Our last frost date is june, so I understand about the waiting. And the seed catalogs are the most fun of the entire year ~ nothing like planning out a year's worth of work to squish into about 4 months worth of summer <giggle> and managing to get most of it done!!!!!!
