Sorry for the VERY long absence, life has taken a DRASTIC turn in the past few months!

As some of you may know, I was really struggling against the prompting that I needed to go to college. Finally, I decided to follow the prompting that I knew was from God. I really didn't know what I should major in, and I really didn't want to go to college! I had many ideas of what my major could be, but I didn't really like any of them enough to spend years studying them!

One Sunday after praying and fasting to know what I should study, I knelt down and prayed and said something to this effect... "Father, you know better than I what I should major in, my will doesn't matter anymore. I know that you know exactly what I should be doing, I don't care anymore... please let me know thy will!!"

What happened next was incredible!! A major came to mind, and I said "Okay, that's what I'll do!!" It wasn't even a major I had considered... it had crossed my mind once or twice, but I never had seriously considered it. Heavenly Father answered my prayer SO quickly, and I just KNEW that was what I needed to do!

The beginning of July I spend hours and hours getting my application ready for college... since I was home schooled this was my transcript. The end of July I was accepted... I was thrilled!! The feeling that you are doing the Lord's will is INCREDIBLE!!!

I started school about 3 weeks ago... I have had some incredible experiences... some more painful than others! :) In the next little while, I am going to be sharing some of the lessons I have learned about remaining a disciple of CHRIST while being surrounded by the world. I will also share with you the AMAZING major the Lord chose for me, and how incredibly perfect it is for ME! Have a blessed day!!

I am so very glad that God has given you something to do. My mom has been telling me that the years we are not married are the time to do what we want to do, because when we are it is not about us any more.
