We're leaving later this morning togo to Lancaster, PA to Sight and Sound Theatre with my in-laws. We're going to see "In the Beginning." The kids keep wondering why I'm not packing the tent, cooler, pillows, etc. I've had to explain many times the hotel has everything there-we're not tenting, so just pack clothes! LOL I don't think they've ever stayed in a hotel!
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! Mine was good. Pat & the kids gave me 2 beautiful pots of hanging flowers for the porch, the kids made cards for me and Pat cooked dinner. He got a turkey yesterday morning, so we had wild turkey. Hannah made biscuits and salad.
Oh, and guess what! We went on another beaver pond hunt and finally found one with beavers living in it!! It was so exciting! (even though we finished the beaver unit 2 weeks ago).
That was my request of what I wanted to do on Mother's Day, believe it or not.
Here's a pic of my dh & Jonah with the turkey Pat got and then cooked for our dinner: We froze some of it, too.
