Hunting Again.

I know you are all probably tired of hearing about hunting from me, but that is a huge part of our life right now. Believe me, I am always relieved when hunting season is over too, but I am sure grateful for all that is provides us.
My mighty hunters brought home two more animals this week. Yesterday Donald and Wesley brought home a big buck. They were so excited. I have a picture to share.

Hope that doesn't bother anyone.
Did you all set your clocks back????

No bother here, I can't wait to show this picture to my son. He and his sisters are ready to go hunting with my DH. Our season will not start until this next Saturday.
Blessings,
Trixi

OK, so what are the plans for all that deer meat? Do you make your own deer sausage and such? I love venison stew and also slow cooking the roast with turnips, carrots and onions. I find the turnips add more flavor than potatoes, and that way I can cheat a little and have mashed potatoes on the side, carb lover that I am...LOL.
Blessings to you and the family,
Beverly
PS...it is a great picture!
