An unusually slow Monday

Today was not a very good monday for us. Usually I love Mondays. I love getting up and being able to go through the house with my children and get all the cleaning and laundry done. today though I woke up with a very sore neck and shoulders. Thus, I had a pretty bad headach. I only got the sheets on the beds washed, dried and put back on. Pretty sorry excuse for a Monday! Oh, well, tomarrow is another day!
Just incase anyone is interested, I thought I would post my weekly schedule. I love to compare schedules and see how other ladies accomplish all that has to be done in their lives.
Monday - cleaning and laundry day
Tuesday - School and sewing day
Wednesday - School and baking day
Thursday - School and scrapbooking or card making day
Friday - School and touch up day ( we have a house full of teenagers on this day, so I get ready for that.
Saturday is hubby day
Sunday is the Lords day
Please don't think I accomplish this all every week. There are many times that things get changed around or just dont get done. This is just a guideline to keep me going. I have learned that the most important part about a schedule is flexability!
My children are so excited to start school and so am I. I love living by a schedule and in summer things really do slide. I love school to start so that we can get back into a regular schedule. Life is so much joyous for me. Part of it could be that fall is my favorite time of year. I feel truely energized this time of year.
Well, I am going to finish up my muffins that are for tomarrows breakfast and enjoy an full night of sleep. Good night all!
I like a schedule too

It is so hard for us to obtain a schedule that works for all of us. My dh works a swing shift and has four days on and four days off, one month of days (6am to 6pm) and then a month of nights (6pm to 6am) so I need to find something that will work for that as well as for the children and I. My weeks look like.. Monday we call Mad-a-gas-car Monday ~ meaning we run our errands on that day (we live 30 minutes from the nearest anything so I try to schedule all our errands on one day) Tuesday is Tackle it Tuesday ~ here we tackle school lessons and one of the many projects needing to be done around the house. Wednesday we call Washday Wednesday ~ this pretty much speaks for itself. It is the day we do all the linens and things as well as our regular laundry, and the day we 'dust' and wash down the tubs and toilets and things. Thursday I call Treasure Chest Thursday as it is the day we do school lessons as well as make something for the girls hope chests and my sons Treasure chest. (our crafty day) Fridays are my Fruit of the Spirit Fridays this is the day I dig deep into a bible lesson so that I can teach on a charactor training that might need to be addressed in the family or just something the Lord spoke to me throughout the week. Saturday are my scrapbook days and Sunday we have Silent Sunday which is something we do as a Family, be it explore on the property (we live on 28 acres and love to explore God's creation) or we just go to the river and enjoy life.
I look forward to reading more of your posts. Enjoy your week.
